GOVERNMENT OF WEST BENGAL LEGISLATIVE DEPARTMENT West Bengal Act XX of 1969 THE WEST BENGAL APPROPRIATION (EXCESS EXPEN- DITURE, 1961-62 AND 1962-63) ACT, 1969. [Passed by the West Bengal Legislature.] [Assent of the Governor was first published in the Calcutta Gazette, Extraordinary, of the 23rd August, 1969.] [23rd August, 190.] An Act to regularise payment and appropriation of certain further swims from and out of the Consolidated- Fund of West Bengal for the services and purposes of the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1962 and the year ending on the thirty-first day , of March, 196.3. It is hereby enacted in the Twentieth Year of the Republic . of India, by the Legislature of West Bengal., as follows 2. From and out of the Consolidated Fund of West Issue of Bengal,— _ Rs. 2,54, 43,342 and (1) sums not exceeding those specified in column 3 of Rs. 3, 25, Schedule I amounting in the aggregate.- to the 98,273 out sum of of rupees two crores, fifty-four lak -hs-, forty- of the solidated three thousand, three hundred and forty-two, and Fund of (2) sums not exceeding those specified in column. 3 of Bengal ' Schedule II _amounting in th.e.:.. aggregate to the respecti- sum of rupees three crores, -tWenty-five i akhs, vely for the Beryl- ninety-eight thousand, two hundred, and seventy- ces and three, . . purposes of the year are authorised for payment and application toward.s defray- 1961-62 ing the several charges which were incurred during._ and the year (i) the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1962-63. 1962 and (ii) the year ending on- th'e thirty-first day of March, 1963, respectively, in respect of the services and Purposes specified in column 2 of each such Schedule and which were in excess of the amounts granted for the services and purposes of the respective year. The, sums authorised for payment and application from and out. of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal by this Act shall be deemed to have been respectively appro- priated for the services and purposes expressed in Schedules I and II in relation to the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1962 and the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1963, .
