Act to regularise payment and appropriation of certain further sums from and out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal for the services and purposes of the year ending on the thirty-first day of March 1960 and the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1961. It is hereby enacted in the Fifteenth Year of the Republic of India, by the Legislature of West Bengal, as follows,:— Short 1. This Act may be called the West Bengal A.ppropria- title. tion (Excess Expenditure, 1959-60 and 1960-61) Act, 1964. Issue of Re.3,34,13,296 and Re.1,28,60,914 out of the Consoli- dated Fund of West Vengal respect- ively :or the pervices Zelre4 purposes of the year 1959-60 and the 'year 1960.81. Appro. priation. 2. Front and out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengali— (1): sums not exceeding those specified in column 3 of Schedule I amounting in the aggregate to the sum of rupees three crores, thirty-four lakhs, thirteen thousand, two hundred and ninety-six, and (2), sums not exceeding those specified in column 3 of Schedule II amounting in the aggregate to the clum of rupees one crore, twenty-eight sixty thousand, nine hundred and fourteen, are authorised for payment and application towards defray- ing the several charges which were incurred during— the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1960, and (ii) ,the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, • 1961; respectively, in respect of the services and purposes speci- fied in column 2 of each such Schedule and which were in excess of the amounts granted for the services and purposes of the respective year. 3. The sums authorised for payment and application from and out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal by this Act shall be deemed to have been respectively appro- priated for the services and purposes expressed in Schedules I and II in relation to the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1960 and the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1961.
