THE WEST BENGAL APPROPROATHON (VOTE ON 
ACCOUNT) ACT, 1952. 
[Passed by the West Bengal Legislature.] 
[Assent of the Governor was first published in the Calcutta 
Gazette, Extraordinary, of the 29th March, 1952.] 
An Act to provide for the withdrawal of certain. sums from and 
out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal for the 
service of a part of the financial year 1952,53. 
WHEREAS it is expedient to provide for the withdrawal 
of certain sums from and out of the Consolidated Fund of 
West Bengal for the service of a part of the financial year 
1952-53; 
It is hereby enacted as follows:- 
1. This Act may be called the West Bengal Appropria-
tion (Vote on Account) Act, 1952. 
2. From and out of the Consolidated fund of West 
Bengal there may be withdrawn sums riot exceeding those 
specified in column 2 of the Schedule amounting in the 
aggregate to the sum of thirty-one crores, four lakhs, five 
thousand, one hundred and one rupees towards defraying 
the several charges which will come in course of payment 
during the financial year 1952-53. 
3. The sums authorised to be withdrawn from and out 
of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal by this Act shall 
be appropriated for the services and purposes expressed in 
the Schedule in relation to the said year.
