THE WEST BENGAL APPROPRIATION (NO. 2) 
ACT, 1960.

An Act to authorise payment and appropriation of certain 
• further sums from and out of the Consolidated Fund of 
West Bengal for the services and purposes of the year 
ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1960. 
W iimmts it is expedient to authorise payment and 
appropriation of certain further sums from and out of the 
Consolidated Fund of West Bengal for the services and 
purposes of the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 
1960; 
It is hereby enacted in the Eleventh Year of the Republic 
of India, by the Legislature of West Bengal, as follows:- 
1. This Act may be called the West Bengal Appro- Short title, 
priation (No. 2) Act, 1960. 
2. From and out of the Consolidated Fund of West Issue of 
Bengal there may be paid and applied sums not exceeding }tur es  7,29,91,239 
those sPecified in column 3 of the Schedule amounting in out of the 
the aggregate to the sum of rupees seven crores, twenty- Consohdat. 
nine lakhs, ninety-one thousand and two hundred and ed Fund

will come in course of payment during the year ending on the yeart-t. 
the thirty-first day of March, 1960, in respect of the services 1959-40 --
and purposes specified in column 2 of the Schedule. 
3. The sums authorised, to be paid and applied from 
and out of the Consolidated' Fund of West Bengal by this 
Act shall ,.be appropriated for the services and purposes 
expressed' in the Schedule in relation to -  the year ending on , 
the thirty-first day of March, 1960.
