An Act to authorise payment and appropriation of certain
further slims from and out of the Consolidated Fund of
West Bengal for the service of the year ending on the
thirty-first day of March, 1959.
WHEREAS it is expedient to authorise payment and appro-
priation of certain further sums from and out of the Con-
solidated Fund of West Bengal for the service of the year
ending on the -thirty-first day of March, 1959;
It is hereby enacted in the Ninth Year of the Republic
of India, by the Legislature of West Bengal, as follows:-
1, This Act may be called the West Bengal Appropriation Short title.

2. In addition to the sum of fifty-three crores, nine lakhs Issue of

(Vote on Account) Act, 1958, there may be paid and applied solideted
from and out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal, sums Fund of
not exceeding those specified in column 3 of the Schedule Wr ibrEtenhe-
amounting in the aggregate to the sum of rupees seventy-three ygaaar 1958,
crores, ninety-seven laklas, twenty-six thousand and one 59, in add-
towards defraying the several charges which will come in tion to the
course of payment during the year ending on the thirty-first sum
day March, 1959, in respect of the services specified in authorised column 2 of the Schedule. to be with-
. drawn for that year.
3. The sums authorised to be paid and applied from and Appropria-
out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal by this Act tion.
shall be appropriated for the services and purposes expressed
in the Schedule in relation to the year ending on the thirty-
first day of March, 1959.
