THE WEST BENGAL APPROPRIATION (NO. 2) ACT, 
1952. 
[Passed by the West Bengal Legislature.] 
[Assent of the Governor was first published iii the Calcutta Gazette, 
Extraordinary, of the 26th August, 1952.] 
An Act to authorise payment and appropriation of certain 
further sums from and out of the Consolidated Fund of 
West Bengal to the service of the year ending on the 
thirty-first day of March, 1953. 
WHEREAS it is expedient to authorise payment and 
appropriation of certain further sums from and out of the 
Consolidated Fund of West Bengal to the service of the year 
ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1953; 
It is hereby enacted as follows :- 
1. This Act may be called the West Bengal Appropria-
tion (No. 2) Act, 1952. 
2. In addition to the sum of thirty-one crores, four 
lakhs, five thousand, one hundred and one rupees autho rised 
to be withdrawn and appropriated under the West Bengal 
Appropriation (Vote on Account) Act, 1952, there may be 
paid and applied from and out of the Consolidated Fund of 
West Bengal, sums not exceeding those specified in column 
3 of the Schedule amounting in the aggregate to the sum of 
rupees forty-four crores, sixty-one lakhs, ninety-seven 
thousand and nine hundred towards defraying the several 
charges which will come in course of payment during the 
year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1953, in respect 
of the services specified in column 2 of the Schedule.
