THE WEST BENGAL APPROPRIATION 
(No. 2) ACT, 1987. 
[Passed by the West Bengal Legislature.] 
[Assent of the Governor was first published in the Calcutta 
Gazette, Extraordinary, of the 7th July, 1987.] 
[7th July, 1987.] 
An Act to authorise payment and appropriation of certain sums front and 
out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal for the services and 
purposes of the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1988. 
WHEREAS it is expedient to authorise payment and appropriation of 
certain further sums from and out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal 
for the services and purposes of the year ending on the thirty-first day of 
March, 1988; 
It is hereby enacted in the Thirty-eighth Year of the Republic of India, 
by the Legislature of West Bengal, as follows:- 
1. This Act may be called the West Bengal Appropriation (No. 2) Short title.

2. From and out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal there may Issue of 
Rs. be paid and applied sums not exceeding those specified in column 3 of the 442532, 
Schedule amounting in the aggregate [inclusive of the sums specified in 23,000 out 
column 3 of the Schedule to the West Bengal Appropriation (Vote on of the  Consoli- 
Account) Act, 1987] to the sum of rupees forty-four hundred and twenty- dated Fund 
five crores ninety-two lakhs and twenty-three thousand towards defraying of West 
Bengal for 
the several charges which will come in course of payment during the year the year 
ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1988. in respect of the services and 	 1987-88.  
purposes specified in column 2 of the Schedule. 
3. The sums authorised to be paid and applied from and out of the Appropria-
Consolidated Fund of West Bengal by this Act shall be appropriated for tion 
the services and purposes expressed in the Schedule in relation to the 
year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1988.
