THE BIHAR APPROPRIATION ACT, 2019
AN
ACT
TO AUTHORISE PAYMENT AND APPROPRIATION OF CERTAIN A MOUNT
FROM AND OUT OF THE CONSOLIDATED FUND OF THE STATE OF BIHAR FOR THE
SERVICES DURING THE YEAR ENDING THE THIRTYFIRST DAY OF MARCH, 2019
Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Bi har in the seventieth year of the
Republic of India as follows:-
1. Short title, extent and commencement.-
(1) This Act may be called the Bihar Appropriation Act, 2019.
(2) It shall extend to the whole of the state of B ihar.
(3) It shall come intoforce with effect from 1st April 2018.
2. Withdrawal of total Rs.- 10153,71,63,000 (Ten th ousand One hundred Fifty three
crore Seventy one lakh and Sixty three Thousand), out of the Consolidated Fund of the
State of Bihar for the year 2018-19.- Total Rs.- 1 0153,71,63,000 (Ten thousand One
hundred Fifty three crore Seventy one lakh and Sixt y three Thousand), which will not be
more than the amount mentioned in column-6 of the s chedule of this Act from The
Consolidated Fund of The State of Bihar to meet various expenses to be incurred related to
the payment during the year commencing from 1st Apr il, 2018 in relation to the services
mentioned in column-2 of the Schedule of this Act.
3. Appropriation.-The amount authorized for withdra wal from and out of the
Consolidated Fund of the State of Bihar under this Act will be for the purposes and services
mentioned in the Schedule concerned related to the year commencing from first day of
April, 2018 and will be appropriated in respect of them.
