THE ASSAM DEPUTY SPEAKER’S SALARIES AND 
ALLOWANCES (  AMENDMENT ) ACT, 1986

Act
further to amend the Assam Deputy Speaker’s Sala­
ries and Allowances Act, 1958.
Pream ble. W hereas it is expedient further to am end the
Assam Deputy Speaker’s Salaries and. Allowances 
Act, 1958, hereinafter called the principal Act, in 
the manner hereinafter appearing ;
It is hereby enacted in the Thirty-seventh 
year of the Republic of India as follows :—
Sh°andlc (D This Act may be called the Assam
commence- Deputy Speaker’s Salaries and Allowances (Amend- 
mcn( -  m ent) Act, 1986.
(2) It shall come into force on the 1st 
day of September, 1986.
A m e n d m e n t 2. In the principal Act, for Section 2, the

0f A s s ^ m  following shall be substituted, namely:—
Act, xvi 
of 1958.
“2 «  Salary of the Deputy Speaker:—
There shall be paid to the Deputy Speaker 
of the Assam Legislative Assembly a salary 
of two thousand and five hundred rupees 
per mensem.”
