ASSAM ACT III OF 1937.
THE ASSAM DEPUTY SPEAKER’S SALARY
ACT, 1937.
[Passed by the Assam Legislature.] 
[Published in the Assam Gazetti of the 10th November 1937.]
An Act to provide fo r the salary o f the Deputy Speaker  
o f the Assam Legislative Assembly.
Preamble. Whereas provision has been made by sub­
section (4) of section 65 of the Government of 2 6  Geo. V 
India Act, 1935, for the determination of the Ch. 2*  
salary of the Deputy Speaker of the Provincial 
Legislative Assembly by an Act of the Provincial 
Legislature ; it is hereby enacted as follows :—
Short title. 1. This Act may be called the Assam Deputy 
Speaker’s Salary Act, 1937.
Salary of 2. There shall be paid to the Deputy Speaker 
Deputy of the Assam Legislative Assembly a salary of 
Speaker. R e.l per annum.
