(AUGMENTATION OF CORP"GS) ACT, 2017

AN 
ACT 
to augment the corpus of the Contingency Fund of the State of 
Assam. 
Whereas it is expedient to augment the corpus of the 
Contingency Fund of the State of Assam; 
ll is hereby enacted in the Sixty-eighth Year of 
the Republic of India as follows :-
1. (1) This Act may be called U1e Assam Contingency Fund 
(Augmentation of Corpus) Act, 2017. 
(2) lt extends to the whole of the State of Assam. 
(3) It shall be deemed to have come into force on U1c 1st 
day of April, 2017. 
2. Then' shall he paid by the State Government into the 
Contingency Fund of State of Assam a further sum of 
fifty crorcs of mpees out of the revenues of the Statt> of 
Assam for the financial year 2017-2018.
