THE ASSAM CONTINGENCY FUND (AMENDMENT)

furiher fo amend the Assam Contingency Fund Act, 1950 
Preamble . 
Whereas it is expedient to amend the Assam Con­
tingency Fund Act, 1950, here- in- after called the princi­pal Act; 
It is hereby enacted in the Twentysixth year of the Republic of India as follows :-

(2) It shall come into force at once and shall remain valid upto 31st March , 1976. 
Amen~ment 2. In ithe principal Act, to Section 3, the following 
ofSecuon 3 prov iso shall be added:-of Assam Act 
IX of 1950. 
Provided that durin g ithe period of operation of the 
Assam Contingency Fund (Amendment) Act:, 1975, a fur­
ther sum of ten crores of rupees shall be paid from and 
out of the Consolidated Fund of ithe State of Assam into 
Lhe Contingency Fund of Assam. 
The sums authorised to be paid and applied from 
and out of the Consolidated Fund of the State of Assam 
by this Act shall be appropriated for the services and 
purposes expressed in the Schedule in relation to the 
' year ending on the 31st day of March, 1976 and shall be 
re-tr·msie rred from t he Contingency F und to the Con­
solidat ed Fund of Assam on or before the 1st April, 1976·
