The Employment of Manual Scavengers and Construction of Dry Latrines (Prohibition) Act, 1993
(1) No court inferior to that of a Metropolitan Magistrate or a Judicial Magistrate of the first class shall try any offence under this Act. (2) No prosecution for any offence under this Act shall be instituted except by or with the previous sanction of the Executive Authority. (3) No court shall take cognizance of any offence under this Act except upon a complaint made by a person generally or specially authorised in this behalf by the Executive Authority.Open in Lexace · Ask the AI about this section
