An: Act to. authorise' payment and appropriation of certain
further sums from and out of the Consolidated Fund of
West Bengal for the service of the year ending on the
thirty-first day of March, 1958.

Whereas it is expedient to authorise payment and
appropriation of certain further sums from and out of the
Consolidated Fund of West Bengal for the service of the year
ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1958;
It is hereby enacted in the Eighth Year of the Republic of
India, by the Legislature of West Bengal, as follows :—

2. In addition to the sum of fifty-one crores, sixty-two
lakhs and sixteen thousand rupees authorised to be withdrawn
and appropriated under the West Bengal Appropriation (Vote westBen
on Account) Act, 1957, there may be paid and applied from Act VI of*
and out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal, sums not 1957.
exceeding those specified in column 3 of the Schedule
amounting in the aggregate to the sum of rupees sixty-two
crores, forty-four lakhs, forty-four thousand^ and one towards
defrajdng the several charges which will come in course of
joayment during the year ending on the thirty-first day of
March, 1958, in respect of the services specified in column 2
of the Schedule.
3. The sums autliorised to be jDaid and applied from and
out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal by this Act shall
be appropriated for the services and purposes expressed in the
Schedule in relation to the year ending on the thirty-first day
of March, 1958.
