THE WEST BENGAL APPROPRIATION 
ACT, 1990. 
[Passed by the West Bengal Legislature.] 
[Assent of the Governor was first published in the Calcutta Gazette, 
Extraordinary, of the 31st March, 1990.]

An Act to authorise payment and appropriation of certain further sums 
from and out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal for the services 
and purposes of the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1990. 
WIMREAS it is expedient to authorise payment and appropriation of 
certain further sums from and out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal 
for the services and purposes of the year ending on the thirty-first day of 
March, 1990; 
It is hereby enacted in the Forty-first Year of the Republic of India, by 
the Legislature of West Bengal, as follows:- 
1. (1) This Act may be called the West Bengal Appropriation Act, Short title. 
1990. 
2. From and out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal there may Issue of 
be paid and applied sums not exceeding those specified in column 3 of the Rs. 412,17, 
38,324 out 
Schedule amounting in the aggregate to the sum of rupees four hundred of the 
and twelve crores seventeen lakhs thirty-eight thousand three hundred Consoli- 
dated Fund 
and twenty-four towards defraying the several charges which will come in of West 
course of payment during the year ending on the thirty-first day of Bengal for 
the year 
March, 1990 in respect of the services and purposes specified in column 1989-90. 
2 of the Schedule. 
3. The sums authorised to be paid and applied from and out of the Appropria-
Consolidated Fund of West Bengal by this Act shall be appropriated for tion. 
the services and purposes expressed in the Schedule in relation to the 
year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1990.
