THE TELANGANA SURVEY AND BOUNDARIES 
(VALIDATION) ACT, 1924.1 
 
ACT No. II OF 1925. 
 
1. This Act may be called 2[the Telangana Survey and 
Boundaries (Validation) Act, 1924.] 
 
2. In this Act, “3[the Telan gana Survey and Boundaries 
Act, 1923 (Act VIII of 1923)]” shall mean what was published 
under that title at pages 121 to 126 in Part IV of the Fort St. 
George Gazette, dated the 29th day of May 1923. 
 
3. The provisions contained in 3[the Telangana Survey 
and Boundaries Act, 1923 (Act VIII of 1923)], are hereby 
enacted with  the substitution of the words “A copy of the 
order and a copy of the map recording the boundaries as 
determined under section 9, 10 or 11 (1) shall be furnished 
to any person interested in such order or map” for the words 
“A copy of the order under section 10, or 11 (1) and a copy 
of the order regarding the boundaries as determined under  
section 9, 10, or 11 (1) shall be furnished to any p erson 
interested in such orders ” occuring in sub -section (2) of 
section 11 of 3[the Telangana Survey and Boundaries Act,  
1923 (Act VIII of 1923.)]  
 
 And the said provisions with the said substitution shall 
be deemed to have been in force with effect from the 29th 
day of May 1923.

1. The Andhra Pradesh Survey and Boundaries (Validation) Act, 1924 in 
force in the combined State, as on 02.06.2014, has been adapted to the 
State of Telangana, under section 101 of the Andhra Pradesh 
Reorganisation Act, 2014 (Central Act 6 of 2014) vide. the Telangana 
Adaptation of Laws Order, 2016  issued in G.O.Ms. No.45, Law (F) 
Department, dated 01.06.2016.
