An Act to amend and define the law of 
intestate succession among Mappillas 1 
governed by the Msrukakkattcly~am ' 
or the Aliyasantana Law of Inheritance. .

Preemble. Whereas it is expedient to amend and define 
the rulesof law applicable to intestate suoce8aion 
among Mappillas governed by the Marumkksttayam 
or the Aliyasantane Law of Inheritance; It is emoted 
as follows :- 
Short title. 1. (1) This Act may be called the Mappilh Suoces 
sion Act, 1918.
