The following Act of the Sikkim Legislative Assembly having received the assent orthe
Governor on the 28th day of March, 1977 is hereby published for general information :-

Be it enacted by t.hc Lcgislilture of Sikkim in the Twenty-eighth
ye"r of the I'.q)ublic cl TH<::j"as follo'.'.'s:-

Act, 1977.
(2) It: sh.il l cornc inl.o force at cnce.
(I) In. Section 2of the Sikk.m Contingency Fund Act, 1975 for the words
"a sum of twenty-Eve: ];Jd\Sof n.pees'", the words "a sum of fifty-
lakhs of rupees" shall be substituted.
(2) After Section 2 of the Skkim Contingency Fund Act, 1975. the
following proviso shall be added and shall always be deemed ie
have been added.
Provided that the State: Government may, from time to time, after
apP(op'!'!z.tion Ior the jHX,pOSeis mtide by law, increase the amount
at the C'Ccdit of the Cont;ngency Fund of Slkkim by transfer from the
Consolidated Fund of Sikkiru such further "mounts as it 111<\y deem
fit, not c>..cecding th(: amount of the said ',ppropriation.
