The 24th December, 2016 
 
S.R.O. No. 640 /2016 — In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of 
Section 1 of the Odisha Municipal Services Act, 201 6 (Odisha Act 7 of 2016), the State 
Government do hereby appoint the 24th day of Decemb er, 2016 as the day on which the 
said Act shall come into force.
