THE INDIAN STAMP (MANIPUR SECOND AMENDMENT) ACT, 2011
(Manipur Act No. 6 of 201 1)

Act
further to amend the Indian Stamp Act, 1899 in its apphcation to the State of Manipur._
Be it enacted by the Legislature of Manipur in the Sixty—second Year of the
Repubhc Of India as follows:
Short title extent and commencement. - (1) This Act may be called the Indian Stamp
(Manipur Second Amendment) Act 2011.
(2) It extends to the whole of the State of Manipur.
(3) 1t shal] come into force on such date as the State Government may, by
notification in the Officia1 Gazette, appoint.
2. Amendment of Schedu1e 1. — 1h Schedule 1 of the 1hdian Stamp Act, 1899 (No. 2 of
1899):, for the instruments described in Article 23, the following shall be substituted,

‘23. CONVEYANCE [as defined Three rupees for every Rs.100 or
by section 200)]: not being a part thereof of the consideration for
