[THE MAHARASHTRA CASINOS (CONTROL AND TAX) (REPEAL) ACT, 2023.] 
 [This Act received the assent of the Governor on the 3rd January 2024; assent was first published 
 in the Maharashtra Government Gazette, Extraordinary No. 4, Part IV, on the 3rd January 2024.]  
An Act to repeal the Maharashtra Casinos (Control and Tax) Act, 1976. 
WHEREAS, it is expedient to repeal the Maharashtra Casi nos (Control and Tax) Act, 1976  
(Mah. XXXI of 1976) ; it is hereby enacted in the Seventy -fourth Year of th e Republic of India, as 
follows:–– 
1.  Short title.— This Act may be called the Maharashtra Casinos (Control and Tax) (Repeal) 
Act, 2023. 
2.  Repeal of Mah. XXXI of 1976 .— The Maharashtra Casinos (Control and Tax) Act, 1976
