THE CHHATTISGARH TOBACCO (NIR$AN) ACT, 2008 
An Act to repeal the Chhattisgarh Tobacco Act, 1939 (No. 8 of 1939). 
Be it enac ted by the Chhattisgarh Legislature in the. Fil"ty-nineth Year of the Reruhlic 
of India as follows:-
I. 
2. 
(i) This Act may be called the Chhattisgarh Tobacco (Nirsan) Act. 2008. 
(ii) lt extends to the whole State of Chhattisgarh. 
(iii) It shall come into t'orce from the date of its publication in the Official 
Gazette. 
The Chhattisgarh Tobacco Act, 1939 ( No. 8 of 1939) is ~ercby rcpcakd.
