It is her eby  enac ted in t he For ty-f ifth 
-Year of the Republic of India as 
follo ws :—
sh ort  titr 1( 1) . This Act may  be called the
men  an d  Assam Liq uor Prohibition (Amendment) c Din me nce -J * 1  i n n  a 
me at . 199 4.
(2 ) .  It shall have  the like ext ent  as 
the  prin cipa l Act.
(3 ) .  It shall come in to force at once.
2. In the prin cipal Act, in Section 2, in
o f" •  ’ cGcm-2sub-section  (2), for the  w ords, "State Pro- 
“bib ition Coun cil”, the words, "State Anti-
Dru g and Prohib itio n Council” shall be 
substituted-
3 - In the prin cipa l Act, in Section-17,
A m e n d - ip sub-section (1), (2),. (3 ) and (4) for the ,  ., 
c K o n ’^w ord s, "State Proh ibitio n Council”, the. . 1  •
