THE DIBRUGARH UNIVERSITY (AMENDMENT) ACT, 1973

further to am end the D ibrugarh U n iversity Act, 1965
Preamble. Whereas it is expedient further to amend the Assam
Dibrugarh University Act, 1965, hereinafter called ^ V I I I  
the principal Act, in the manner hereinafter 
appearing;
It is hereby enacted in the Twenty-fourth 
year of the Republic of India as follows:—
Short title (j) This A c t may be called the Dibrugarh
m edncement'. University (Amendment) Act, 1973.
(2) It shall come into force on such date as 
the State Government may, by notification in the 
official Gazette, appoint.
Amendment 2. In Section 30 (2) of the principal Act, for the 
of Section w o r c ] “ twenty’’  occurring in between the words 
Assam Act “rupees”  and “ lakhs” the word “ forty” shall be 
VIII of 1965. substituted.
