An Act to provide for the salary of lhe D1puty 
Pmident tif the Assam Legislative Council. 
Preamble. WHEREAS provision has been made by sub-
sections ( 4·) and ( 5) of section 65 of the Govern -
ment of India Act, 1935, for the determination 26 Geo, V 
of the salary of the Deputy President of the Ch. 2. 
Provincial Legislative Council by an Act of the 
Provincial Legislature ; it is hereby enacted as 
follows:-
Short title. 1. This Act may be called the Assam Deputy 
President's Salary Act, 193':'. 
Salary of 2 There shall be paid to the Deputy Prc­
J?eputy Pre· sident of the Assam Legislative Council a salary 
lldent. of Re.l per annum.
