An A(t to amend the Assam Commissiontrs' Powers 
Distribution Act, 1939 
Preamble. WHEREAS it is expedient to amend the Assam 
Commissioners' Powers Distribution Act, 1939 ; Assam Act I 
of 1939. 
It is hereby enacted as follows :-
Shott title. 1. This Act may be called the Assam Commis-
sioners' Powers Distribution (Amendment) Act, 
1940. 
Amendment 2. In Schedule B of the Assam Commissioners' 
Bof ASchcdule Powers Distribution Act, 19S9 in column 4 of , • s::. m Act I of the first entry for the figures «4(13) '' the figures 
1939. '3(1 3)" shall be substituted.
