Preamble.
to establish a Private University un der the name and style
"Krishnaguru Adhyatmik Visvavidyalaya" under section 6 of
the Assam Private Universities Act,2007.
Whereas it is expedient to establish a Private University
under the name and style "Krishnaguru Adhyatmik
Visvavidyalaya" under section 6 of the Assam Private
Universities Act, 2007 and for matters connected therewith or
incidental thereto;
It is hereby enacted in the Sixty-eighth Year of the
Republic of India as follows:-

Short title,
extent and
commencement.
1.
(1) This Act may be called Krishnaguru Adhyatmik
Visvavidyalaya Act, 2017.
(2) It extends to the whole of Assam.
(3) It shall come into force at once.
Establishment of
Krishnaguru
Adhyatmik
Visvavidyalaya.
2.
(1) For furthering the advancement of learning and prosecution
of higher education and research, there shall be established a
Private University under the name and style "Krishnaguru
Adhyatmik Visvavidyalaya" in the State of Assam.
(2) The details regarding name, location, jurisdiction and
infrastructure of the said University are mentioned in the
Schedule appended to this Act.

(i) Laboratory : Separate 6 for Science subjects capacity 40 each.

(iii) Endowment Fund : Rs.2,79,88,641/- (Rupees two crore seventy
nine lakh eighty eight thousand six hundred and forty one) only.
