It is hereby enacted in the Fifteenth Year of 
the Republic of 1 ndia as Jo llows :-
1. (i) This Act may be called the Assam Legisla­
tive Assembly Members' Salaries and Ailuw· 
ances {Amendment) Act, 1964.

with effect from the 1st April , 1963. 
Amendment 2. ln Section 4 of the principal Act.­

As~am Act For clause (3) the following shall be substituted

"(3) a fixed travelling allowan· e of one hundred, 
and fifty rupees per mensem hr the purpose of 
tours on public purposes to be drawn in the similar 
manner as is prescribed for sahries in a separate 
form to be prescribed by rules made by the ~tate 
Government in thill behalf.'
