Whereas itisexpedientfurthertoamend theGuwahati Waterbodie servation
and Conservation)Act, 2008 to provideforpreervationprotection,eo rvation,
regulationand maintenance ofmore waterbodies withinthejurisdictionofG ahati
MetropolitanDevelopmentAuthorityand the matterse ed therewithorincidental
thereto;

Itishereby,enacted intheSixty-firstYear oftheRepublicofIndiaasfollows:-
1. (1)ThisAct may be calledtheGuwahati Waterbodies(Preserv"onand
Conservation)(Amendment) Act, 2010.
(2) Itshallhave thelikeextentastheprincipalAct.
(3) Itshallcome intoforceatonce.
