No. Law/Legn-19/2020.—The following Act of the Arunachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly which was passed in the Fifth Session of the Seventh Legislative Assembly and received the assent of the Governor of Arunachal Pradesh is hereby published for general information.

THE ARUNACHAL PRADESH SALARY, ALLOWANCES AND PENSION OF MEMBERS OF THE LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY (AMENDMENT) ACT, 2020. 
(ACT NO. 6 OF 2020) 
AN 
ACT 
further to amend the Arunachal Pradesh Salary, Allowances and Pension of Members of 
the Legislative Assembly Act, 1983 (Act No. 8 of 1983). 
BE itenacted by the Legislative Assembly of Arunachal Pradesh in the Seventy First Year 
of the Republic of India as follows :- 
1. (1) This Act may be called the Arunachal Pradesh Salary, Allowances and  Shorttitle and 
Pension of Members of the Legislative Assembly (Amendment) Act, 2020.  commence- 
ment (2) 1t shall be deemed to have come intc force with effect from 
1st April, 2020 
2. In the Arunachal Pradesh Salary, Allowances and Pension of Members of the  Insertion of 
Legislative Assembly Act, 1983, after section 3, the following section shallbe New section 
inserted, namely :- 3A. 
“3A. Notwithstanding anything contained in section 3, the salary payable to 
the Members of Legislative Assembly, under Section 3 shall be reduced 
by thirty percent, for a period of one year commencing from 1st April, 
2020, to meet the exigencies arising out of Corona Virus (Covid - 19) 
pandemic”.
