THE ARUNACHAL PRADESH SALARIES AND ALLOWANCES OF MINISTERS (AMENDMENT) ACT, 2020 
(ACT No. 9 OF 2020) 
An 
Act 
further to amend the Arunachal Pradesh Salaries and Allowances of Ministers Act, 1983 (Act No. 6 of 1983). 
BE it enacted by the Legislative Assembly of Arunachal Pradesh in the Seventy First year of the Republic of India as follows:- 
1. (1) This Act may be called the Arunachal Short title and commencement Pradesh Salaries and Allowances of Ministers (Amendment) Act, 2020. 
(2) Itshall be deemed to have come into 
force with effect from 1% April, 2020. 
2. In the Arunachal Pradesh Salaries and 
Allowances of Ministers Act, 1983, after 
section 3, the following section shall be 
inserted, namely:- 
“3A. Notwithstanding anything contained 
in section 3, the salary payable to the 
Chief Minister, Deputy Chief Minister, 
Ministers (including Leader of Opposition), Insertion of new section 3A 
Minister of State and Deputy Ministers 
under Section 3 shall be reduced by thirty 
percent, for a period of one year 
commencing from 1% April, 2020, to meet 
the exigencies arising out of Corona Virus 
{Covid-19) pandemic”.
