further to amend the Arunachal Pradesh Salaries and Allowances of Ministers Act' 1983 (Act
No. 6 of 1983)'
BE it enacted by the Legislative Assem bly of Arunachal Pradesh in the Seventy First year of
the Republic of lndia as follows:-

Short title and commencementThis Act may be called the Arunachal
Pradesh Salaries and Allowances of
Ministers (Amendment) Act, 2020'
It shall be deemed to have come into
force with effect from 1"rApril, 2020'

lnsertion of new section 34
ln theArunachal Pradesh Salaries and
Allowances of Ministers Act, 1983, after
section 3, the following section shall be
inserted, namely:-
"3A. Notwithstanding an,'thing contained
in section 3, the salary payable to the
Chief Minister, Deputy Chief Minister,
Ministers (including Leader of Opposition),
Minister of State and Deputy Ministers
under Section 3 shall be reduced by thirty
percent, fof a period of one Year
commencing from 1"tApril, 2020, to meet
the exigencies arising out of Corona Virus

(Covid-19) pandemic".
