The Prohibition of Employment as Manual Scavengers and their Rehabilitation Act, 2013
If any Panchayat has reason to believe that some persons are engaged in manualscavenging within its jurisdiction, the Chief Executive Officer of suchPanchayat shall causea survey of such manual scavengers to be undertaken, mutatis mutandis, in accordance withthe provisions of section 11 and section 12, to identify such person.Open in Lexace · Ask the AI about this section
