Section 59 — Territorial scope of Act.

This Act shall extend only to such parts of the North-Western Provinces of the Presidency of Fort William in Bengal as are subject to the general Regulations of that Presidency; but the Act may be extended, by order of the Local Government, either wholly or in part, to any Non-Regulation Province under such Government.
