The North-Eastern Areas (Reorganisation) Act, 1971
All courts and tribunals and all authorities discharging lawful functions throughout the existing State of Assam or the Union territory of Manipur or the Union territory of Tripura or any part of such State or Union territory immediately before the appointed day shall, unless their continuance is inconsistent with the provisions of this Act or until other provision is made by a competent Legislature or other competent authority, continue to exercise their respective functions.Open in Lexace · Ask the AI about this section
