Section 1 — Short title and extent.

The Delivery of Books and Newspapers (Public Libraries) Act, 1954

(1) This Act may be called the Delivery of Books 1 [and Newspapers] (Public Libraries) Act, 1954. (2) It extends to the whole of India except the State of Jammu and Kashmir*.
