THE BIHAR SCHOOL EXAMINATION BOARD (AMENDMENT) ACT 2010.
AN
ACT
TO AMEND THE BIHAR SCHOOL EXAMINATION BOARD ACT 1952
B E it enacted by the Legislature of the state of Biha r in the Sixty one year of the
Republic of India as follows :-
1. Short Title, extent and commencement .—(1) This Act may be called The Bihar
School Examination Board (Amendment) Act 2010.
(2) It shall extend to whole of the State of Bihar
(3) It shall come into force from the date of its p ublication in the official
Gazette.
2 . Amendment of Section-10 B of The Bihar School Exa mination Board Act
1952 .—(1) The words "Secretary Human Resource Developme nt Department or his
nominee" used in Clause (ii) of sub section-(2) of section- 10 B of the said Act are hereby
deleted.
(2) The clause (iii) of sub section-(2) of section - 10 B of the Act shall be
renumbered as clause-(ii)
(3) The following new sub section-(4) shall be in serted after sub section-(3) of
section-10 B of the said Act :-
(4) Any person dissatisfied with decision of the c ommittee constituted under
section-10 B may prefer an appeal within 30 (Thirty ) days of the communication of the
decision before Principal Secretary, Human Resource Development Department, Govt. of
Bihar, who shall be the appellate Authority and his decision shall be final.
