AND OUT OF THE CONSOLIDATED FUND OF THE STATE OF BIHAR FOR THE SERVICES
DURING THE YEAR ENDING OF THE THIRTY FIRST DAY OF MARCH, 2019.
Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Bi har in the sixty ninth year of the Republic
of India as follows:-
1. Short title, extent and commencement.— (1) This Act may be called the Bihar
Appropriation (No.-2) Act, 2018.
(2) It shall extend to the whole of the state of Bihar.
(3) It shall come into force with effect from 1st April 2018.
2. Withdrawal of Rs. 177533,28,58,000 (One Lakh sevent y seven Thousand five Hundred
thirty three Crore twenty eight Lakh fifty eight Th ousand) out of the Consolidated Fund of the State
of Bihar for the year ending on the 31st March 2019.—From and out of the Consolidated Fund of the
Bihar, there may be paid and applied amount not exc eeding those mentioned in column 6 of the
Schedule amounting in the aggregate to the sum of Rs. 177533,28,58,000 (One Lakh seventy seven
Thousand five Hundred thirty three Crore twenty eig ht Lakh fifty eight Thousand), only towards
defraying the several charges which will come in co urse of payment during the year ending on the
thirty first day of March 2019, in respect of the services specified in column-2 of the Schedule.
3. Appropriation.— The amount authorized to be paid and applied from and out of the
Consolidated Fund of the State of Bihar by this Act shall be appropriated for and in respect of the
services and purposes mentioned in the Schedule in relation to the year ending on the thirty first day
of March,2019.
