Who it is for

• Foreign nationals visiting India for tourism or short personal visits

Key requirements

• A passport valid for at least six months with blank pages
• A purpose limited to tourism/casual visit (no employment or business activity)
• An e-Visa applied for online in advance, or a regular visa from an Indian mission
• Compliance with the permitted duration and any registration condition stamped on the visa
