Who it is for

• Skilled professionals, technical experts and executives with an Indian employer
• Foreign nationals being deputed to an Indian company/branch

Key requirements

• A job offer/contract with an entity registered in India
• Generally a skilled/senior role meeting the prescribed salary threshold (with limited exceptions)
• Employment visa obtained before entry (not convertible from tourist visa)
• Registration with the FRRO/FRO if the stay exceeds the notified period (commonly 180 days)
