Section 39 — Audit of accounts.

1 [39. Audit of accounts.-- (1) The accounts of the University shall, once at least in every year and at intervals of not more than fifteen months, be audited by the Comptroller and Auditor-General of India. (2) The accounts, when audited, shall be published in the Gazette of India, and a copy of the accounts together with the audit report shall be submitted by the University to the Visitor.] 2 [(3) A copy of the accounts, together with the audit report, shall also be submitted to the Central Government, which shall, as soon as may be, cause the same to be laid before both Houses of Parliament."]
