(1) The Authority may, by notification in the Official Gazette, and with the previous approval of the Central Government, make regulations, not inconsistent with this Act, and the rules made thereunder, to carry out the purposes of this Act. (2) In particular, and without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing power, such regulations may provide for all or any of the following matters, namely:-- (a) the procedure in accordance with which the experts and professionals may be engaged under sub-section (4) of section 9; (b) the places and time of meetings of the Authority and the procedure to be followed at such meetings, (including the quorum at its meetings) under sub-section (1) of section 10; (c) any other matter which is required to be, or may be, specified by regulations.Open in Lexace · Ask the AI about this section
