Section 39 — Meetings.

The Cantonments Act, 2006
(1) Every Board shall meet at least once in a month to transact its business on such day as may be fixed by the President and in his absence by the Vice-President, and its notice shall be given in such manner as may be provided in the regulations made by the Board under this Chapter. (2) The President may, whenever he thinks fit, and shall, upon a requisition in writing by not less than one-fourth of the members of the Board, convene a special meeting. (3) Any meeting may be adjourned until the next or any subsequent day, and an adjourned meeting may be further adjourned in like manner but not more than twice except in case of a public emergency.
