(1) The Authority may, by notification, constitute a Committee to be known as the Warehousing Advisory Committee to advise the Authority on matters relating to the making of regulations under section 51 and make recommendations for effective implementation of the provisions of this Act. (2) The Warehousing Advisory Committee shall consist of not more than fifteen members excluding the members of the Authority to represent the interests of commerce, industry, engineering, agriculture, consumers, organisations engaged in warehousing, quality control, preservation and research bodies. (3) Without prejudice to the provisions of sub-section (1) , the Warehousing Advisory Committee may advise the Authority on such other matters as may be referred to it by the Authority.Open in Lexace · Ask the AI about this section
