The Central Government may for reason to be recorded, direct that any specified work, repair, renewal or replacement which is to be undertaken by or for the Council under this Chapter, shall be carried out on behalf of the Council by the Central Government and the Council shall pay the charges therefor at the rates and subject to the terms for the time being applicable in the case of works constructed by that Government on behalf of a local authority.Open in Lexace · Ask the AI about this section
