(1) The Central Government shall appoint the Member-Secretary of the Council to exercise such powers and perform such duties under the direction of the Council as may be prescribed or as may be delegated to him by the Chairperson. (2) The Council shall, with the previous sanction of the Central Government, employ such officers and other employees as it deems necessary to carry out the purpose of this Act. (3) The Council shall, with the previous sanction of the Central Government, fix the allowances to be paid to the Chairperson and other members and determine the conditions of service of the Member-Secretary, officers and other employees of the Council.Open in Lexace · Ask the AI about this section
