Section 1 — Short title and commencement.

(1) This Act may be called the Chief Election Commissioner and other Election Commissioners (Appointment, Conditions of Service and Term of Office) Act, 2023. (2) It shall come into force on such date 1 as the Central Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint.
