Subject to such reasonable provisions as may be made under section 37 every municipality shall make reasonable provision for the following special matters, namely:-- (a) providing special medical aid and accommodation for the sick in times of a dangerous disease and taking such measures as may be required to prevent the outbreak or suppress and prevent the recurrence of the disease; and (b) giving relief and establishing and maintaining relief works, in times of famine or scarcity, to or for destitute persons within the limits of the municipality.Open in Lexace · Ask the AI about this section
