The Nagar Panchayat or, as the case may be, the Council may authorise any officer to enter, at any time between sunrise and sunset, after three hours notice into any building or premises in which any infectious or contagious disease is reported or suspected to exist, for the purposes of inspecting such building or premises on the basis of the report of the officer.
