Any occupier of a house on or near a public road who keeps or allows to be kept, for more than twenty-four hours, or for more than such shorter time as may be appointed by the municipality, otherwise than in some proper receptable, any house, ashes, sewage or any noxious or offensive matter in or upon such house, or in any out-house, yard or ground attached to and occupied with the house or suffers such receptacle to be in a filthy or noxious state, or neglects to employ means to cleanse the same shall, be punishable with fine not exceeding five hundred rupees.Open in Lexace · Ask the AI about this section
